PAT Testing

The basics

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), also known as a PAT inspection. is the easiest way of ensuring that all your electrical equipment is safe to use.

PAT testing equipment involves the technical examination and visual inspection of electrical appliances and equipment by a competent person to ensure they are safe to use.

All electrical appliance testing is done by our qualified portable appliance testers and electrical equipment engineers and includes checking earth connection, basic insulation and everything else needed for compliant electrical systems.

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 makes it your responsibility to make sure all of your electrical equipment is safe and compliant. If not, you could be putting yourself, your employees, your office and ultimately your business at risk.
